TVTextbook works closely with school districts to determine the best method for delivering courses to the student’s home. The student learning experience is identical regardless of how courses are delivered. 

Each TVTextbook kit includes all of the equipment that a student needs to quickly and easily transform their television into an interactive learning device.

Connectivity options

1. USB Content Stick: Digital content is easily transferred between the school and the home, with or without connectivity, via a USB content stick. Teachers can provide 100% access to all students by sending assignments home on USB sticks which plug directly into their TVTextbook. Back at school, the student plugs the stick back into the teacher's USB hub, and student progress data is instantly uploaded.
2. Broadband: For students with home Internet connections, the TVTextbook can be easily connected by either an Ethernet cable or through a WiFi adapter. All content will be transferred directly to and from the Internet.
3. 3G: Students are issued a 3G receiver that provides the TVTextbook access to the Internet from anywhere within the AT&T 3G network coverage area. All data will be uploaded and downloaded via the 3G connection.
